02.07.2022…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! There are so many fun stamp sets in the new Stampin’ Up! January – June Mini Catalog! It’s always nice to have a stamp set with images and sentiment, but I do love a good “sentiments only” stamp set…..and especially a set with humorous sentiments! That being said, I just couldn’t resist purchasing the Bragworthy Stamp Set! It’s just so much fun!

Because I love these sentiments so much, I decided to make them the “stars of the show”. I didn’t add any ther stamped images, just an inked and embossed background, and some embellishiments. Hope this card inspires you create a some projects and cards with your favorite sentiment set, as well!

I created four projects using the Bragworthy Stamp Set…..a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card, a 3-1/2″ x 5″ notecard, a 3″ x 3″mini card, and a gift tag. For the three cards, I started with a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. For the gift tag, I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. (For the gift tag, I cut out a slightly smaller tag, and layered it on top of the larger one.)

For each background, I used Blending Brushes, along with Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, and Coastal Cabana. (For the gift tag, I cut out a slightly smaller tag, and layered it on top of the larger one.)

To add some texture to the backgrounds, I used Hive 3D Embossing Folder, Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders.

The sentiments (from the Bragworthy Stamp Set) were heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For the largest card, I cut apart the sentiments by hand. To cut out the sentiments the other three projects, I used the Tasteful Labels Dies, Sweet Hearts Dies, and the Give It a Whirl Dies.

To create the bows, I used some frayed White Baker’s Twine (from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack), and also used a mini staple to attach two of the bows. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels. For the gift tag, I added some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise.
