02.17.22…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! As I was starting to clean off my desk, and get ready for another stamping project…guess what I found??? Yes….lots of scraps, so I decided to create a another card with a few of them. The only thing I had to add was the Petal Pink card base, a Linen Thread bow, and a few Polished Dots. Hope this inspires you to create a card or project with some of your extra bits and pieces!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Petal Pink Cardstock base. I then added a scalloped Basic White Thick Cardstock circle, cut out with one of the Layering Circles Dies.
For the butterfly, I used a Blending Brush to add some Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then cut out the butterfly with one of the Brilliant Wings Dies. The little Basic White Thick Cardstock branches in the middle of the butterfly were created with one of dies from the Blessings of Home Bundle.

The flower and the leaves were cut out from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. To add a subtle wash of color, I used a Water Painter, along Balmy Blue and Soft Sea Foam. The sentiment was heat-embossed on Gray Granite Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also added a Linen Thread bow, and sprinkled on a few of the Polished Dots.
Wishing you creativity always,
