05.20.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we have an amazing Inspiration Challenge for you…the brand new Stampin’ Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog! We fell in love with the cover and felt it was a great starting point for this week’s stamping inspiration, and hope that you will join us!
For my card, I chose Page 98 in the new catalog…..featuring the gorgeous Texture Chic Suite! I’m sooooo obsessed with this amazing collection of products, and I couldn’t wait to start creating!
For my card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the new Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then cut five strips (in varying lengths and widths) of the new Texture Chic Speciality Designer Series Paper, and popped of each of them with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To create the leaves and flowers, I used the dies from the Season of Chic Bundle, along with the new Distressed Gold Speciality Paper.
The sentiment (from the Season of Chic Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little extra texture, I added a Linen Thread bow. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Opal Rounds and Elegant Faceted Gems.
