08.10.2022…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! I just love using the trendy alcohol ink technique! And…..I thought it would be fun to combine it with a holiday themed card! Of course, I also had to use one of fave die sets….the Chic Dies! Hope this card inspires you to create some seasonal cards as well. It’s never to early to begin working on those holiday projects!
For my 4-14″ x 4-1/4″ card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. To create the background, I used the trendy alcohol ink technique on Vellum Cardstock, along with Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, and Bermuda Back Stampin’ Blends Markers. Layered underneath the Vellum Cardstock some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

To create the snowflakes, I used the Chic Dies along with some Basic White Thick Cardstock. The sentimen (from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
I used White Baker’s Twine, and pulled out just a few of the threads to create to the bow, For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on For Everything Fancy Sequins.
Wishing you creativity always,
