10.07.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! We’re kicking off October in a true TGIF Challenge style, with a spectacular Color Combo Challenge…using Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, and Crushed Curry! We hope this challenge inspires you to use these festive colors to create a colorful, fall card of your own! We would love to see what you create!

For this card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I then layered some Perfectly Penciled Designer Series Paper underneath, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the entire panel.
To create the leaves, I used a Water Painter to add Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Once the paper was dry, I used four of the Chic Dies to cut out the leaves.

The sentiment (from the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To create the bow, I used White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, Black & White Gingham Ribbon (both cut in half lengthwise), and Linen Thread. For a subtle bit of bling, I add Black Matte Dots.
Wishing you creativity always,

Such a lovely card. I love the black and white DSP and how the ribbon ties in with it. The color of the leaves is perfect.
