let it snow again…

09.28.2022…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! I had not played with the Gilded Leafing in awhile, so I thought today would be a perfect day for that! And…for an extra pop of color, I decided to pair it with Polished Pink! I realize it’s a LOT of pink, but I think it’s a fun, festive card! Hope this inspires you to use some pops of color to create a holiday-themed project, too!

For my card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to adhere it to a Polished Pink Cardstock base. I then layered some Snowflake Specialty Vellum on top of that.

Next, I used a Blending Brush to add some swirls of Polished Pink to another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and added some speckling with my Dark Polished Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward toward the cardstock.

I used the Mountain Air Stamp Set to create the trees. I stamped the trees with my Versamark Pad, added Heat & Stick Powder, and then added the Gilded Leafing.

The sentiment (from the Joyful Flurry Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Polished Pink Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the bow, I used White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Simply Elegant Trim. For a bit of extra bling, I sprinkled on For Everything Fancy Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
