stampin’ fancy friday – christmas card challenge…

10.31.2022….. Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a festive “ Christmas Card Challenge”. Each of our team members created a fancy project using prducts from the holiday-themed suites from the July-Dec Mini Catalog.

I absolutely adore the Gingham Cottage Suite, so when I saw the theme for this challenge, I knew it would be absolutely perfect!

Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have 23 amazing projects to share, and each using a unique product inspiration from throughout the catalog!

Then…..you create a card or project, with inspiration of your own or…..use one from our team. Share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post.

For my card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhere some Gingham Cottage Designer Series Paper to the card front. Next, I added a smaller piece of Gingham Cottage DSP, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the wreaths, I used a Blending Brush to add soft swirls of Mint Macaron to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used the wreath dies (from the Cottage Wreaths Bundle) to cut out three wreaths. I layered two of the wreaths together, and added the third one by itself. The little branches were cut from White Glimmer Paper, using dies from the Cottage Wreaths Bundle.

The sentiment (also from the Cottage Wreaths Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiment with litte tag die from the Happier than Happy Bundle, I popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the bow, I used my Light Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Marker to color some White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise), and also added some White Baker’s Twine (with a few of the threads pulled out). To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearl Basic Jewels and For Everything Fancy Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
