11.27.2022…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! I can’t believe that November has almost come to a close! And…..it’s already time for another Stamping Sunday Blog Hop! For this Sunday’s hop, we are featuring “holiday happening” projects. I was also in the mood to create some clean and simple projects, so I came up with this festive little card, and matching gift tag. Hope these projects inspire you to create some quick, simple projects as well!
For the “merry” card, I started with a Crumb Cake card base. I then my Water Painter, along with a few drops of my White Craft Ink Refill (mixed with a tiny bit of water) to add some white speckles. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the end of the brush against the inside edge of the brush cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock.)
For the next layer, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base. I then added a smaller piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock on top of that, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath this layer is a small piece of Natural Finish Ribbon.

To create the trees, I used a Water Painter to add Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then used the two little tree dies (from the Happy Forest Friends Bundle) to cut out the trees. I also used the White Craft Ink again to add some speckling to the trees.
The sentiment (from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set) was stamped in Soft Suede. After I cut out the sentiment, I tied it to the card with a bit of Linen Thread, For a bit of bling, I added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Next up is the little gift tag…
I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies to cut out a Crumb Cake Cardstock tag, and added some speckling with the White Craft Ink. I cut out a second tag from Basic White Thick Cardstock, and embossed it with one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders. After I layered the two tags together, I added a Basic White Thick Cardstock circle.

The sentiment (from the Framed and Festive Stamp Set) was stamped in Soft Suede. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I added Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. To create the bow, I used Natural Finish Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread.
Wishing you creativity always,
