04.17.2023…..HappyMonday, everyone! Today, some of my Artisan Design Team 2023 friends are hopping along on Instagram, and saying “goodbye” to the retiring Stampin’ Up! Colors. It was really hard for me to choose one color, but I finally decided on Bermuda Bay! For this alcohol ink technique card, I also paired Bermuda Bay with a few of the colors that are staying in the catalog…..Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy and Old Olive.
While I’m sad to see some of these colors go, I’m also super excited with all of the amazing new colors that are now part of the permanent color families. Hope this card inspires you to create at least a few cards or projects using some of the retiring colors…..before they’re gone!

For my card, I started with a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. To create the background, I used the trendy alcohol ink technique on Vellum Cardstock, along with Bermuda Bay, Blackberry Bliss, Night of Navy, and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. Layered underneath the Vellum Cardstock some Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

The sentiment (from the Stepping Stones Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on For Everything Fancy Sequins.
Wishing you creativity always,
