hey there…

07.07.2023…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! I just love all of the new colors that Stampin’ Up! added during the new Color Refresh, but…..Bubble Bath is my fave! I also added a touch of Soft Sea Foam and Granny Apple Green to this card as well. I hope this card inspires you to use some of your new favorite colors, too!

For this card, I started with some Subtles 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper and added it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and layered some Bubble Bath Cardstock and Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath…both cut out with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.

To create the leaves, I used a Water Painter add some Soft Sea Foam and Granny Apple Green to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. I then cut out the leaves with two of the Gorgeously Made Dies.

For another pop of Bubble Bath, I layered a little strip of Subtles 6″ x 6″ DSP (notched at both ends) on top of the leaves. Underneath the DSP is a little Linen Thread bow as well. The sentiment (from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and cut out the coordinating die from the Sentiment Silhouettes Dies. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins, Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
