04.21.2026…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Welcome to our hop along featuring In Color Matchups! This unofficial Artisan 2026 Instagram hop is about each artisan creating a project using one of the brand new 2026–2028 In Colors, paired with one to three additional current colors of their choice…along with neutrals, as desired. We mixed, matched, and experimented with color combinations that reflects our individual creative styles. The goal is to inspire through color…..showing how you can combine shades, create balance, and bring your unique style to life!
For my card, I chose Barely Blush from the 2026-2028 In Color collection. I combined it with Soft Sea Foam, also used Basic White and Gray Granite as the neutrals. Hope this card inspires you to experiment with a new color combo as well!
Be sure to hop along and see how each designer interpreted this challenge… you’re going to walk away with SO many color combo ideas.

To create this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I also used the Eyelet Blooms Die (Stampin’ Up! April 2026 Product of the Month), along with Barely Blush Cardstock, and tore off the right side of the cardstock. Tucked underneath the torn edge is some Country Woods Designer Series Paper. I then popped up the entire panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I cut out a Basic White Thick Cardstock scalloped circle, using one of the Scalloped Blooms Dies. I also used a Small Blending Brush, along with a Gray Granite Classic Stampin’ Pad, to add color to the center of the circle. To create the branches and flowers, I used a Blending Brush to add Soft Sea Foam and Barely Blush to Basic White Thick Cardstock, and cut them out with the Delicate Whispers Dies.
The sentiments (from the Lovely Arrangements Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using Gold Embossing Powder. To create the bow, I used Gray Granite 1/4″ Variegated Trim, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Circles.
Wishing you creativity always,
