you’re the best…

06.010.2024…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing card created with the Happiest Day Stamp Set. This stamp set is an eclectic mix of simple images and sentiments, that are great for cardmaking, scrapbooking, etc. It’s also a great, basic stamp set to have on hand for those last minute cards and projects!

I was in the mood to do some coloring with my Stampin’ Blends Markers, so I stamped the dragonfly image several times, and added a bright mix of colors. Hope this card inspires you create a card or project using this fun, trendy stamp set, too!

For this card card, I started with some Bubble Bath Cardstock, embossed it with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.

Next, I stamped the dragonfly image (from the Happiest Day Stamp Set) several times on some Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad. To color in the pink-toned dragonflies, I used Bubble Bath and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs. To color in the peachtoned dragonflies, I used Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker Combo Packs. To create the speckling, I used a Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.

The sentiment (from the Happiest Day Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out with one of the Everyday Detail Dies, I popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For an extra bit of texture, I used Black Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out). I wrapped some of the twine around the cardstock, and then also created a bow. For For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins and Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio.

Wishing you creativity always,
