03.09.2024…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to create a card using a few strips of Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper that I had left in my stash. I trimmed the strips into varying widths, and tore the bottom edges to create more of an organic look. Hope this card inspires inspires you to create a card or project using your bits and pieces of DSP as well!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Quatrefoil Tile Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I added five strips of Masterfully Made DSP, trimmed into a few different widths. After I tore the bottom edge of each strip, I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere them to the card base.

The sentiment (from the Circle Sayings Stamp Set) was heat-embsossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I also cut out the sentiment with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. To add an extra bit of texture, I added White Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out) and Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on embellishments from the Tinsel Gems Three-Pack, Blooming Pearls, and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels.
