#tgifc577 – theme challenge…

05.15.2026…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we’re focusing on a theme that’s always meaningful…..”Thank You” cards! There’s something special about taking the time to create a handmade note of gratitude, and we’d love to see how you express it through your papercrafting. Whether your style is soft and elegant, bright and cheerful, or clean and simple, this is the perfect opportunity to create a card that will make someone feel truly appreciated. Pull out your favorite supplies and design a thank-you card that reflects your creative style. We can’t wait to see all the beautiful ways you share gratitude through your projects!

For this challenge, I used several patterns of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP, along with a variety of dies and stamps. Hope this card inspires you to create some “thank you” cards as well!

For my card, I started with some Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then cut another piece of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP, and added a Basic White Thick Cardstock border to the left, which I created with one of the Bordered in Beauty Dies. I also added to smaller pieces of the Beautiful Ordinary Life DSP, and layered them together at an angle.

Next, I cut out a Basic White Thick Cardstock circle, using one of the Scalloped Blooms Dies. I also used a Small Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to the center of the circle. To create the branches, I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then cut out the branches with one of the Fern & Flora Dies. I cut the little flowers out from Basic White Thick Cardstock, using one of the Help Me Grow Dies.

I heat-embossed the three flowers (from the Extraordinary Life Bundle) using my Versamark Pad and Black Embossing Powder. I used a Water Painter, along with Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo, to color the flowers. I then cut them out with the coordinating die.

The sentiment (from the Banner Sayings Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. To add some extra texture, I created a Linen Thread bow. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Cicles.

Wishing you creativity always,
