09.23.2026…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “Black & White” challenge! Our team members each created a fancy project using “Black & White” as the focus of their card or project…..with may just a tiny pop of color! Needless to say, this challenge is overflowing with lots of creativity and inspiration!
To create the focus of my card, I used the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies, Delicate Whispers Dies, and Extraordinary Life Bundle. The heat-embossed sentiment is from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set. I also used the Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder, Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder, Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper, Baker’s Twine, and a little sprinkle of embellishments.

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic Black Cardstock base. To create the next panel, I adhere some Artisan Sketched Garden Designer Series Paper to Basic White Thick Cardstock, then used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base. I then used the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies to cut out a scalloped rectangle, and add some Basic White Thick Cardstock that I embossed with the Softly Woven 3D Embossing Folder. I also add some white and black Baker’s Twine (with a few threads pulled out), and tied a bow around the scalloped rectangle.
To create the branches, I used the Delicate Whispers Dies (recently retired), along with Basic White Thick Cardstock and Basic Black Cardstock. For the notebook paper and the butterfly, I used the Extraordinary Life Bundle, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. I used my Versamark Pad, along with Black Embossing Powder to heat-emboss the butterfly. To color the butterly, I used a Water Painter, along with Flirty Flamingo ink.
The sentiment (from the Banner Sayings Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Embossing Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Pearlized Faceted Circles (recently retired) and Sunset Sparkle Sequins.
