Pattern Party - Well Said by Tammy C. Wilson

02.28.2020…Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have added some texture to our Product Spotlight Challenge…..Embossing Paste! That’s right, my stampin’ friends, it’s time to get out your embossing paste, and probably some inks and decorative masks…..and just go crazy!!! I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges. We would love to see what you create!

There is no limit to how much your can earn during SALE-A-BRATION, but this yearly special ends on March 31, 2020.

For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath, I adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a small square of Whisper White Thick Cardstock, I used Flirty Flamingo, along with my Aqua Painter, to add a quick wash of color to the background. (I was careful not to “scrub” back and forth on the paper so it wouldn’t bubble, and dried the paper quickly with my Heat Tool.)

After my paper was dry, I used the cloud mask (from the Pattern Party Decorative Masks) to add a fun pattern to the background. I mixed a tiny bit of my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Ink Refill to a little bit of Embossing Paste. I then used one of the Palette Knives to add the blue embossing paste to the clouds, smoothing it and swirling it around as needed. Once I was happy with the results, I used my Heat Tool to dry it just a bit. Underneath, I layered a Whisper White scalloped square (die cut with one of the Layering Squares Dies) and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (from the Well Said stamp set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a little bit of bling and texture, I sprinkled on a few Gold Glimmer hearts (die cut with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies) and added a Whisper White Baker’s Twine bow.

Wishing you creativity always,
