02.24.18… A Good Day is the name of the sweetest little stamp set in the newest Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog. I decided to use it to create some sweet and simple 3″ x 3″ cards…..just right for a gift enclosure, thank you card, or just because!
I stamped the images in Basic Gray, and chose to “stamp off” once before stamping each image on Whisper White cardstock. I liked the softer touch that it gave to the images. After stamping the images, I also did some simple watercoloring using an Aqua Painter along with a few Classic Stampin’ Pads in assorted colors. I used a very light touch, to give more of a delicate color to the images. I punched out the images with the new coordinating 1-1/8″ Scallop Punch and 1-3/8″ Scallop Punch, and then add some Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up some of the layers on the cards. Just a touch of Linen Thread or Baker’s Twine, and a Pearl or Rhinestone Basic Jewel (or two)….and the cards were done! It’s a good day!
