05.20.18… It’s funny how you can have a stamp set for quite awhile, and you keep thinking to yourself ,” I need to use that stamp set soon!”… but you keep putting other stamps sets and projects ahead of it.
Well… Picture Perfect Birthday has been that stamp set for me. (I know what those of you who’ve used this set over and over again are thinking, “Is she crazy?” Ok, friends…I’m onboard now!
On top of all of the cute “accessory” stamps, the sentiment stamps are to die for! Love, love, love!
For this card, I wanted to use a couple of my favorite items from the 2018 Occasions catalog (which is expiring on May 31st)…the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper and the Tutti Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins. (Don’t forget…these items are only available through May 31, 2018. )
The Timeless Textures stamp set (along with my Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad) was used to create the background pattern on the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. I layered it on top of a Whisper White cardstock base., and then added two strips of the Tutti Frutti paper.
Using the Layering Circles Framelits, I die cut a scalloped circle from Vellum Cardstock, and then used the Stitched Shapes Framelits to die cut the circle from another piece of Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper. For some texture, I added a some Burlap Ribbon, and a bit of Soft Sky Woven Ribbon as well. The Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set used with Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad and Whisper White cardstock, then cut out and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For those fun, little details, I added a tiny wooden flower (from the Touches of Nature Elements), a Rhinestone Basic Jewel, and…a couple of Tutti Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins. Did someone say “fabulous”?
