05.20.18… As everyone knows, gratitude can be expressed in so many different ways. One of the ways I enjoy showing my gratitude (even for the smallest things) is sending a handmade card. That being said, I couldn’t wait to open up my new Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, and create this cheerful, sunny card!
Using a Night of Navy cardstock base, I added Whisper White cardstock (dry embossed with the new Lovely Floral Embossing Folder, and speckled with Crumb Cake ink. I layered that with a strip of the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, and then distressed the edges. ( I have a paper distressing addiction….just so you know.)
I cut the flags from another piece of the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper, add some linen thread, and the few Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of each flag. The new Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (in White) was wrapped around the card, and tied in a bow.
Using the new Itty Bitty Greeting stamp set and my Night of Navy Classic Stampin’ Pad, I stamped the sentiment on Crumb Cake cardstock, and popped it up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my bit of bling, I added a few Iridescent Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels. Showing your gratitude is just that simple!
