04.28.19…..I had so much fun playing with the new April 2019 Sentimental Rose Paper Pumpkin kit this weekend! It is such a gorgeous kit, and it incorporates some of my favorite Stampin’ Up colors…..Calypso Coral, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, and Mint Macaron! With so many special events popping up this time of year…..graduations, weddings, baby showers, and of course Mother’s Day…..this kit is truly a life saver and a time saver! With just a few extra accessories, I was able to create these three projects, as well as several others. You’ll also want to check out my Paper Pumpkin and Roses post, to see the shabby chic banner that I created with this kit as well.
For the Clear Tiny Treat Box, I cut two 1″ strips from one of the card bases, and adhered them with a few Mini Glue Dots. (The “seams”, where the two strips meet, are hidden underneath the bow and on the bottom of the box. I tied a long piece of Silver & Petal Pink Baker’s Twine around the box. I then added a few extra loops of the twine, along with a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and Gold Mini Sequin Trim.
I die cut the small scalloped circle from of the layering card fronts, using one of the Layering Circle Framelits. The sentiment is embossed on one of the small pre-cut labels, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For my extra bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Metallic Sequins, and one of the Tinted Faceted Buttons.
To color the Mini Pizza Box, I used my Sponge Brayer along with my Mint Macaron Classic Stampin’ Pad. On the box lid, I layered a patterned paper square, which was cut from one of the card bases. I tied a long piece Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around the box. added a few extra loops of ribbon as well.
For the tag, I die cut the scalloped circle (using one of the Layering Circle Framelits) from the back (solid white panel) of the card base. I then used one of the Stitched Shapes Framelits to die cut the circle from one of the layering card fronts. The sentiment is embossed on one of the small pre-cut labels, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I used a small piece of white baker’s twine (also included in the kit) to attached the tag, and added a bit of Gold Metallic Thread as well. For my extra bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Metallic Sequins, and one of the Tinted Faceted Buttons.
I started with a card base, then layered on a large patterned strip (cut from another card base), and added the scalloped edge using one of the Be Mine Stitched Framelits.
