05.24.19…..Welcome to the weekend, everyone! I have to admit that the title of this post is a bit misleading. O.K…….a lot misleading! This cool, little box was created with some of the amazing new products (including the Petals & Parcels Bundle) from the soon-to-be released 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. And that new catalog, my stampin’ friends, is not “a little something”…..but “a BIG something”!
Yes, stampers…the overwhelming excitement and anticipation is real! The new 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog will be released in less than two weeks! You may begin placing your customer orders on June 4, 2019!
I used the box diecut (from the Petals & Parcels Bundle) along with Sahara Sand Cardstock to create this little gift box. I stamped the outside of the box with the “watercolor” flowers image (from Petals & Parcels Bundle) with Sahara Sand (“stamped-off” once). After I assembled the box with Tear & Tape Adhesive, I sponged around all of the edges (using Sahara Sand and a small wedge cut from a Stamping Sponge).
The middle of the box was wrapped with Pretty Peacock Cardstock (one of the amazing new 2019-2021 In-Colors), which was diecut with the filagree border from the Petals & Parcels Bundle. (I used three of the diecut borders to wrap the entire box, and I hid the ends under the bow, and on the bottom of the box. To adhere the borders, I used a combination of Tear & Tape Adhesive and Mini Glue Dots.)
In the opposite direction, I added some of the new Scalloped Linen Ribbon in Terracotta Tile (another new In-Color). Tucked around and underneath the ribbon is a bit of Rose Metallic Thread, Linen Thread, and some distressed Braided Linen Trim. The sentiment (from the Petals & Parcels Bundle) was stamped in Sahara Sand on Whisper White Cardstock, and cut out with the label die cut from the same bundle. Tucked underneath is small piece of the new Woven Threads Designer Series Paper (…love, love, love), cut out with the same label diecut. For the tiniest of details, I sprinkled on one of the new In-Color Faceted Dots, along with a Gold Metallic Pearl.
