Bloom & Grow - Stitched Nested Labels by Tammy C. Wilson

UPDATE:  06.17.19…..This morning, I was excited to find out that my Bloom & Grow card (that I posted on 06/12/19) was one of the winners for this week’s Global Design Project #193 (#GDPwinner). 😃

06.12.19…..Welcome to Wednesday, everyone!  And…welcome to the brand NEW 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog!  It seems that each and every Stampin’ Up catalog is full of amazingly wonderful products, and this new catalog certainly doesn’t disappoint!

This week, I’m participating in the latest Global Design Project (#GDP193) Color Challenge, and I thought the NEW Bloom & Grow Bundle would be just perfect for this card.  Don’t forget…..you can save 10% by ordering the Bloom & Grow Bundle (Bloom & Grow Stamp Set + Budding Blooms Dies)!

I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and used my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Write Marker to add some speckling.  (For create the speckling, I used the thick end of the marker and “flicked” it against the marker cap.)  After I layered it with Night of Navy Cardstock, I adhered the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock Base., using a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.    I used one of the Stitched Nested Labels along with Whisper White Cardstock, and adhered the label using a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For an extra bit of dimension, I added some Vellum Cardstock, die cut with one of the Perfect Parcel dies.  Tucked underneath is a bit of Linen Thread and Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon.  (I cut the white edge off of the ribbon, and pulled out several of the individual threads.)

I stamped the four various stems (from the Bloom & Grow Bundle) on Whisper White Cardstock, using Stazon Ink.  I then used my Aqua Painter (along with Pineapple Punch, Granny Apple Green,  and Night of Navy) to add a subtle bit of color.  After I die cut the stems (I used a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the three stems on the label.  The sentiment (from the Bloom & Grow Bundle) was also stamped with Stazon Ink, cut out, and popped up with a few more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For those extra little details, I sprinkled on a few Metallic Pearls, along with a couple of Heart Epoxy Droplets. (Look closely and you’ll see one heart near the top left corner of the card, and one tucked right above the “hello” sentiment.)06.01.19_TH_STOPMOTION_ENG
