06.21.19…..Happy Friday, stampers! I have to admit that it took me a minute to start creating cards and projects with the new To a Wild Rose Bundle. However, I’ve quickly become obsessed with it! That being said, I couldn’t help creating another card with this gorgeous set! (By the way…..for those of you who also love to layer, this card should defintely fill that niche!)
For this card, I used Subtle Embossing Folder to dry-emboss a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and added some speckling , using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the edge of the marker cap.) I then layered it with a piece Whisper White Cardstock , and adhered the panel to a Petal Pink Cardstock base. On top of that, I added some Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, a piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, and another piece of Whisper White Cardstock (embossed with the Woodland Embossing Folder. I then added a bit of Magnolia Lane Linen Ribbon, and a small strip of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (notched at one end).
The flower (from the To a Wild Rose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock (using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder), and then cut out with one of the coordinating dies. To add some color, I used my Aqua Painter along with a mix of Balmy Blue and Pool Party, and then popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. I created some texture underneath the flower, by pulling apart some of the fibers from the Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon. I also used one of the coordinating dies to cut out the Soft Sea Foam leaves.
The sentiment (also from the To a Wild Rose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut out the sentiments, I popped them up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. For those ever-so-important little details, I sprinked on a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, and a couple of Pearl Basic Jewels.
