06.28.19…..Omg! Where has the week gone? Hope everyone is have a wonderful Friday afternoon! In my last post, I mentioned that I’ve become obsessed with the new To a Wild Rose Bundle. And…..I will continue to stand by that statement! However, this time I paired it with the Parcels & Petals Bundle as well. I’ve mentioned several times how much I love mixing products from different bundles and suites. It’s so much fun to pick and choose products to create my own “custom blend”. Hope y’all enjoy it!
Whenever you order a one of the many amazing “bundles” that Stampin’ Up has to offer, versus buying the products individually, you will automatically receive a 10% discount!
(This includes the To A Wild Rose Bundle and the Parcels & Petals Bundle that I used to create this card.)
I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Crumb Cake Cardstock Base. On top of that, I added some Pool Party Cardstock (embossed with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder, along a piece of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper.
Using the Parcels & Petals Bundle, I stamped the flowers and leaves on a piece of Watercolor Paper. After I stamped the images (in Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock, and Granny Apple Green), I misted the paper with my Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water), then sat back and watched the magic happen. As the colors started to run together, I also added a few more spritzes here and there. After I was satisfied with the results, I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper, but still left it slightly damp. I then used a Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker to add the splatters by “flicking” the thick end of the marker on the edge of the marker cap. After the paper was completely dry, I trimmed it with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies.
I used one of the dies from the To a Wild Rose Bundle to cut out the three large flowers. Two of the flowers were cut from Whisper White Cardstock, and for a touch of bling I cut the third one from Silver Glimmer Paper. The image (also from the To a Wild Rose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Embossed Powder. After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath is a bit of Braided Linen Trim (distressed and pulled apart), along with a bit of Granny Apple Green Textured Weave Ribbon and Bermuda Bay Mini Striped Ribbon. (I cut the edges off both strips of ribbon, and pulled out several of the individual threads.) For those last little details, I sprinkled on a few Glitter Enamel Dots, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, and Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
