#tgifc239 – product spotlight – ’tis the season

All-Around Wreath - Itty Bitty Greetings - TGIF by Tammy C. Wilson11.22.19…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends!  It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week, we have a Product Spotlight Challenge for you…..Dry Embossed Vellum.  As luck would have it, I’m obsessed with embossing folders, so I was super excited for this challenge!  I hope you have a chance to play along with us this week, over at TGIF Challenges.  We would love to see what you create!

For this week’s card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Woodland Embossing Folder.  Underneath, I layered a another piece of Whisper White Cardstock and then used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.  I then used a bit of Perennial Essence Vellum  Cardstock (in Petal Pink) along with the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder, and also tore one edge of the vellum.

To create the Soft Seafoam Wreath, I used one of the All-Around Wreath Dies, and then added some speckling with my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker, by flicking the thick end of the marker against the marker cap.  I also used several Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the wreath.  For the little branches, I used another one of the All- Around Wreath Dies, along with a Copper Foil Sheet. I also used yet another one of the All-Around Wreath Dies to create the little  leaves.  To add some texture to the leaves, I used the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, along with some Whisper White Thick Cardstock, before cutting out the leaves.  (By the way, I love the card that Lauren Alarid created for last week’ challenge, and it inspired me to create this wreath.)

All-Around Wreath - Itty Bitty Greetings (zoom) by Tammy C. WilsonThe sentiment (from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Copper Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  After I cut out the sentiment, I popped it up with a few more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit more texture, I added some Petal Pink Organdy Striped Ribbon and Whisper White Baker’s Twine. To add just a little bling, I sprinkled on a few Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
