So…..let’s get to the Valentine card that I created with the new From My Heart Suite! I started with a small piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and embossed it with the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder. Underneath, I added a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock, along with some From My Heart Speciality Designer Series Paper. After I adhered the entire panel to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base, I distressed all of the edges of the paper.
I used the Heart Punch Pack to punch out three From My Heart DSP hearts, and three Whisper White scalloped hearts. After I layered them together, I crinkled them up…just for fun! Before I adhere the hearts with some Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked in two pieces of Real Red Double Stitched Satin Ribbon, and a bit of Rose Metallic Thread. I also created a bow, with several loops of Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon.
The sentiment (from the Heartfelt Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out with one of the Ornate Frames Dies, I added a little bow with a few strands of Whisper White Baker’s Twine. For my little bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the From My Heart Faceted Gems (…love, love, love these!).
