04.21.20…..Happy Tuesday evening, my stamping friends! Today, I also decided to create a card with the Parisian Blossoms Suite, from the January – June 2020 Mini Catalog! This suite of products is just gorgeous, and the possibilities are endless! Hope this card inspires you to create a project with this suite as well!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I then added a rectangle-shaped piece of Parisian Blossoms Designer Series Paper, and a smaller strip of Parisian Blossoms DSP (notched at one end). Tucked underneath the strip of DSP is tiny strip of Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, with a scalloped edge that I created with one of the Stitched Be Mine Dies. For an extra bit of texture, I also added a bit Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon, as well as some Silver Metallic Thread.
I used the Poppy Moments Dies to die cut all of the “outlines” for the poppy (from Whisper White Cardstock), as well as the little center pieces for the flower (which I popped up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals). I then used the “solid” shaped dies for the poppies, and die cut the flower from Petal Pink Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock. I also die cut a second “solid” shape from Whisper White Cardstock, and added it to the back of the Vellum Cardstock. I used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop up the poppy. The sentiment (from the Forever Blossoms Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and a couple of Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Pearl Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,

Such an interesting combination of elements. It’s like a secret garden, you have to look closely to see all that it takes to make the whole. Really enjoyed delving keeping into your card.
