#keepstamping – from all of us…

Ornate Thanks - Peaceful Poppies DSP by Tammy C. Wilson

04.20.20…..Happy Monday, everyone!  Today, I created this card as part of a Stampin’ Up weekly Stamping Color Challenge (#keepstamping)…using Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.  For this challenge, you can use all four colors…or just a few. I love all of these colors, but have not used them all together before in a project, so I figured why not?  These weekly challenges are open to demonstrators and customers alike. You’ll also want to use hashtag #keepstamping to make it easier to find all the projects.

For this card, I started with a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock, embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Crumb Cake Cardstock base.  I then used a piece of Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper, and layered a slightly larger piece of Whisper White Cardstock underneath. To create the little flags, I cut small strips (5/8″ wide) of Woven Threads Designer Series Paper and Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper.  After I cut them down to size, I added some Linen Thread and used a few Stampin’ Dimensional to adhere the entire panel to the card base.

The sentiment (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) was stamped with Early Espresso, cut out, and popped up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For just a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Woven Thread Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
