#share sunshine – covid-19 giveback…

Covid-19 giveback - Daisy Punch by Tammy C. Wilson

05.03.2020…..Happy Sunday, everyone!  Today, I’m super excited to share a #sharesunshine card that I created with the Share Sunshine PDF, as part of the COVID-19 Product Giveback! That being said, Stampin’ Up! is committed to making a difference in our global communities and caring about people first. As part of their Making a Difference program they are offering a product giveback opportunity to support organizations that are helping COVID-19 frontline responders and communities vulnerable to the pandemic.

You can purchase the Share Sunshine PDF Download and Stampin’ Up! will donate 100% of the proceeds to COVID-19 efforts through the following organizations…

The World Health Organization’s COVID-Solidarity Response Fund

United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund

How cool is that!!!

The Share Sunshine PDF Download is a digital stamp set that’s packed with both lighthearted and heartfelt sentiments and imagery relevant to the unique COVID-19 and social distancing situation we’re currently experiencing, and it includes including many ideas that came from customers and demonstrators alike! You can use the download in your cardmaking and papercrafting projects. Simply print the imagery on cardstock and cut it out using our Paper Trimmer, punches, or dies. Since we are physically distanced from each other, now is a perfect time to share sunshine with our friends and family by sending cards!

To create this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. To create the watercolored background, I used a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and misted the paper just a bit with my Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water). To add a subtle wash of color, I used my Aqua Painter  and Balmy Blue Classic Stampin’ Pad. As the color started to run together, I also added a few more spritzes here and there. After I was satisfied with the results, I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper.  To add the extra little water spots, I dipped my fingertips in a bit of water, and “flicked” them above the paper. This time, I let the paper dry on it’s own, and did not use my heat tool. Once the paper was dry, I adhered it to the card base.

For some extra texture, I added a bit of Denim Ribbon, along with a Linen Thread bow. To create the daisy, I used the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder again, along with a small piece of Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I then punched out two daisies with the Medium Daisy Punch, layered them together, and popped them up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The sentiment is one of the many wonderful sentiments from the Share Sunshine PDF.  I printed it out on Whisper White Cardstock, cut it out with one of the Stitched Shapes Dies, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For a bit of bling, I sprinkled several Iridescent Sequins in the middle of the daisy.

I hope you have the opportunity to support the COVID-19 Product Giveback by purchasing the Share Sunshine PDF

Please remember not to share the PDF with others, as this takes away from the organizations that Stampin’ Up! is trying to support. Don’t forget that 100% of the proceeds go directly to COVID-19 efforts!

Wishing you creativity always,
