it’s your day…

Happiest of Birthdays - Comfort & Joy by Tammy C. Wilson (watermark) (2)

07.12.20…..Happy Sunday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to create a card with the Comfort & Hope Stamp Set and the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set…both from the brand new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! This new catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!

For this card, I started with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper and misted it with my Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water). I then used the circle stamp (from the Comfort & Hope Stamp Set) along with…Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, and Crushed Curry. I overlapped the image each time I stamped, and misted the paper a bit more as I continued stamping. If the images became too light, I stamped them again, and misted the paper a bit more. Once I was happy with the results, I used a Heat Tool to dry the paper. I then used several Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the paper to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.

The sentiment (from the Happiest of Birthdays Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Whisper White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath is some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon. I used Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere the ribbon, and looped the ribbon back and forth until I was happy with the results. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on several of the Artistry Blooms Sequins.

Wishing you creativity always,
