07.16.20…..Happy Thursday, everyone! Hope everyone’s had a chance to squeeze in at least a bit of stamping and papercrafting this week! If you’re already hopping along with us today, you probably just came from Stesha’s blog. Aren’t her projects gorgeous!?! If you’ve just started your hop, the Artisan Design Team is featuring projects created with the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle and the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle…both from the new 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog! The team has some absolutely amazing projects to inspire you today, and you will not want to miss a single one!
Today, I’m sharing a three cards that I created with the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle. I’ve also included complete instructions underneath each card, so you can scroll right to the card that suits your fancy and start creating!
Let’s start with the “cocktails” card…
I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and used a Sponge Dauber to added a subtle wash of Coastal Cabana to the center of the cardstock, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I then added some speckling with my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker by “flicking” the thick end of the marker against the edge of the marker cap), and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I also added a small Whisper White scalloped circle near the top of the card, which I cut out with one of the Layering Circles Dies.
The three cocktail glasses (from the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle) were each “stamped off” with my Tuxedo Black Memento Pad on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, and cut out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle. To color the cocktail glasses, I used the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs…..Petal Pink, Calypso Coral, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, and Bermuda Bay. After I cut them out with one of the coordinating dies from the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle, I popped them up with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentments (from the Nothing’s Better Than Bundle) were heat-embossed, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. The “cocktails” sentiment was heat-embossed on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, smaller sentiments were heat-embossed on Basic Gray Cardstock, and were all popped up with a few more Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Whale of a Time Sequins.
Next up, is the “coffee” card…

Tammy, I saw these and knew for absolute certain that there is nothing you can’t make look amazing! I love these cards. I particularly like the way you’ve used Blends to colour the glasses etc but have kept to a loose, almost painterly, style of colouring. Magnificent!
