08.05.2020…..Welcome to Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I decided to create a card with with the new Tasteful Touches Bundle, from the brand new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! This new catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!
For this card, I started with a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Terracotta Tile Cardstock base. I then used a smaller piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and stamped the large flower (from the Tasteful Touches Bundle) several times. Using a couple of Sponge Daubers, I applied Crushed Curry to the center of the flowers, and Terracotta Tile to the remainder of the flower. I applied color to the flower each time, before I stamped it. Once the ink was dry, I embossed it with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder, and added some speckling with both markers from the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the marker cap.) Before I adhered it to the card base with several Stampin’ Dimensionals, I tucked a small piece of Regals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper underneath.
The sentiment (also from the Tasteful Touches Bundle) was stamped with Early Espresso on a small piece of In Good Taste DSP. After I cut it out with one of the Ornate Layers Dies, I trimmed just a bit off of each end, added some Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon (cut in half vertically) underneath, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a few Gold Glitter Enamal Dots, and a couple of Artistry Blooms Sequins.
