08.08.20…..Welcome to the weekend, everyone! Even though it’s early August…I decided to get a jump start on a few Halloween projects today! So… I decided to use the Festive Post Stamp Set, from the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog! Pairing this stamp set with the coordinating Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, gives you sooooo much versatility…not to mention that it includes stamps for Halloween, Christmas, Winter, and Valentine’s Day! What’s not to love…..right!?!
For this card, I started with a some Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (…who knew that this DSP would be a great option for Halloween projects???), and adhered it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base. I then used a Sponge Dauber to gently apply some Pumpkin Pie to a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and stamped the little bats (from the Festive Post Stamp Set) using my Jet Black Stazon Pad. Before I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals, I layered some Basic Black Cardstock underneath.
I used my Jet Black Stazon Pad to stamp the brooms (from the Festive Post Stamp Set) on Whisper White Cardstock, punched them out with the coordinating Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch, and popped them up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (also from the Festive Post Stamp Set) was stamped with my Jet Black Stazon Pad as well, cut out, and popped up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
For some fun texture, I pulled out the Whisper White Twine (from the Misty Moonlight Twine in the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack). I then colored it with my Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Marker, pulled each ply apart, and created a bow. For just the tiniest touch of bling, I sprinkled on one little Artistry Blooms Sequin.
Wishing you creativity always,
The 2020-2021 catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!

Your card is brilliant. I love the smudging behind the postage stamp. I am holding out on the postage stamp punch but you are making it hard. 🙂
