08.15.20…..Welcome to the weekend, everyone! I love to combine different stamp sets and bundles on my projects! So….today I decided to do just that! I used the little flower dies from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle, and combined it with a sentiment from the Well Said Stamp Set! Both the bundle and the stamp set are available in the new Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog!  The Stampin’ Up! 2020-2021 catalog is sooooo jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamps sets, accessories, and more….and I know your wish list will be overflowing before you know it!

For this card, I started with some Whisper White Cardstock, and used a bit of Pool Party to add a subtle wash of color with a Sponge Dauber. After I embossed it with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I used my Light Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Marker to add some speckling. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the marker cap.) I then layered some Bermuda Bay Cardstock underneath, and used a few Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Whisper White Thick Cardstock base.

To create the colorful paper behind the little flowers, I used a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, along with a Water Painter, Crushed Curry Classic Stampin’ Pad, and Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin’ Pad.  I then misted the paper just a bit with my Stampin’ Spritzer (filled with water), then sat back and watched the magic happen. As the colors started to run together, I also added a few more spritzes here and there. After I was satisfied with the results, I used my Heat Tool to dry the paper.  Once the paper was dry, I used the two little flower dies (from the Blossoms in Bloom Bundle) to cut out the Whisper White flowers. I then adhered the flowers to my watercolored paper, trimmed them around the edges, and adhered them with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (from the Well Said Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled several of the Whale of a Time Sequins.
