08.01.21…..Happy Sunday, everyone! Today I decided to do something that I really enjoy, but haven’t done in awhile! I pulled out my little baskets of scraps and unused elements, and…decided to create a card with what I found inside! Even the card base was a leftover from a previous project I was working on. The only “new” elements that I added to my card were the little gems and pearls. Hope this card inspires you to dig through your treasure trove of scraps, and create something new and unexpected!
The background of this card was created with Petal Pink Cardstock, embossed with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered to a Petal Pink Cardstock base. I then added some Basic White Thick Cardstock, which was cut out with the beautiful, floral Artistic Die.
Next, I added a strip of Petal Pink Cardstock, cut out with one of the Stitched Rectangle Dies, embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. On top of that, I some Basic White Thick Cardstock, which has a subtle bit of Flirty Flamingo and Petal Pink (…applied with a Sponge Dauber), and also embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For a bit of shimmer and shine, I added a Gold Foil branch, cut out with one of the new Intricate Leaves Dies. The “happy birthday” sentiment (from the Sweet Ice Cream Stamp Set) was created with my Versamark Pad, Heat & Stick Powder, and Gilded Leafing.
I created the bow with Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon (cut in half vertically). For a bit of bling (…and the only elements on this card that were not a “leftover”), I sprinkled on Elegant Faceted Gems, Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and gold Metallic Pearls.
Wishing you creativity always,

A very beautiful card and knowing it was made with leftover scraps, makes it even prettier.
