07.30.2021…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! And….this week’s TGIF Inspiration Challenge is “Banner Love”! That’s right, my friends…it’s time to create a card with a fun, little banner…created with tags, flags, or whatever you choose! Hope this challenge inspires you to create to your heart’s content! We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used some of the Beautifully Penned Designer Series Paper (available during the Sale-A-Bration promotion…August 3rd – September 30, 2021). I then layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath the DSP, and popped up the entire panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The three tags were cut out from the Hand-Penned DSP, using one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies, and popped up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. The butterfly was created with Basic White Thick Cardstock, using one of the Brilliant Wings Dies.
I heat-embossed the sentiment (from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For some extra texture, I added some White Baker’s Twine. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins and 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.
