08.27.21…..Happy Friday, everyone! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! And….this week’s TGIF Inspiration Challenge is “Walk on the Wild Side”! So grab a stamp set with animals, leaves, animal print, whatever, and join us for this week’s challenge! Hope this challenge inspires you to just go “wild”, and create to your heart’s content! We would love to see what you create!
For this card, I started with some Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (…one of the fabulous products you can earn when you host a party of $150+ in sales), and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then use another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, layered some Basic Black Cardstock underneath, and popped up the entire panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Next, I used a Sponge Dauber to add a few swirls of Coastal Cabana to a small square of Basic White Thick Cardstock. After I embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. To create the leaves, I used my Water Painter to add Bermuda Bay to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After the paper was dry, I cut out the leaves with one of the Artistic Dies.
The sentiment (from the Lovely You Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. For a pop of color, I added some Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon (cut in half vertically). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on a 2021-2023 In Color Jewels and Elegant Faceted Gems.
