christmas season bundle…

09.08.2021…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! I had so much fun playing with the Christmas to Remember Bundle yesterday! So….today, I decided to create a card with the coordinating bundle…the Christmas Season Bundle. Both bundles are part of the gorgeous Painted Christmas Suite. The traditional holiday colors in are absolutely beautiful, but I thought I would be fun to use some unexpected colors…Coastal Cabana, Soft Sea Foam and Gray Granite! To add some holiday sparkle, I used the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (…available for FREE during the current Sale-A-Bration, when you place an order of $50 or more in Stampin’ Up! products). Hope this inspires to create something new and unexpected as well!

For every $50 you spend in regular Stampin’ Up! products, you can earn FREE merchandise (minimum value of $15.00)…..from the SALE-A-BRATION catalog!

By the way, the gorgeous Be Dazzling Speciality Paper that that I used on this card, is one of the products that you can earn! How cool is that?!?!?

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and stamped two of the leaves (from the Christmas Season Bundle) in Soft Sea Foam and Coastal Cabana. Each of the images were “stamped off” once or twice, for a more subtle look. I then embossed the cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and added some speckling with my Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Marker. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outwards toward the cardstock.) I then adhered the cardstock to a Gray Granite Cardstock base.

The pinecones (from the Christmas Season Bundle) were stamped in Gray Granite. I “stamped off” twice for the solid image underneath, then “stamped off” once for the detailed image that I stamped on top. I then cut out the pinecones with the coordinating dies from the same bundle, and popped them up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath the pine branches that I created with the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper (…from the current Sale-A-Bration catalog), using one of the dies from the Christmas to Remember Bundle.

The sentiment (from the Christmas to Remember Bundle) was heat-embossed on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a few more Stampin Dimesionals. To add some extra texture, I added some Pool Party Sheer Ribbon (cut in half vertically). For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Silver Epoxy Essentials and Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,

  1. Tammy, I absolutely love your ribbon work on every project I have ever seen you do! I always know it’s something you did before even looking at the name because of the ribbon. I was wondering if you had any tutorials anywhere for your ribbon work?
