09.08.2021…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Today was one of those days again, where I decided to use up some of the fun little bits and pieces I had leftover from other projects. For this card, I also decided to use another unexpected color combo…..Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, and Smoky Slate! Hope this inspires to create something new and unexpected as well!

For this card, I started with some Smoky Slate Cardstock, embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then added a small square of Peaceful Place Speciality Designer Series Paper, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The tree (from the Whimsical Trees Stamp Set) were stamped in Magenta Madness, then “stamped off” a second and third time. I also used my Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker to add some speckling. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of the marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outwards toward the cardstock.) After I layered some Magenta Madness Cardstock underneath, I popped it up with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The sentiment (from the Words of Cheer Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, I popped it up with a few more Stampin Dimensionals. To add some extra texture, I pulled apart some Baker’s Twine (from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack), and tucked it underneath the trees. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Subtle Shimmer Sequins and 2021-2023 In Color Jewels.
