#tgifc351 – happy valentine’s day…

01.14.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we have a Sketch Challenge! We think it’s a fun one and can’t wait to see what kind of a spin you put on it! Hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then added a white and gold strip of Expressions in Ink Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Next, I added lots of hearts, using dies from the Sweet Conversation Bundle. To create the hearts, I used the Expressions in Ink DSP, Supple Shimmer Speciality Paper, and Foil Speciality Paper. I also popped up most of the hearts with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (from the Sweet Conversations Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Thick White Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the paper is Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon. I cut the ribbon in half lengthwise, and then shredded it as well. I really want to add lots of bling to this card, so I sprinkled on Irridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels, Pastel Pearls, and gold Metallic Pearls.

Wishing you creativity always,

  1. Such a gorgeous card! I submitted one with the same set, yours put mine to shame. For some reason I didn’t see yours till after I posted mine. Haha. I love all your little elements in your card.
