yay for love…

02.01.2022…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! I had so much fun creating the little watercolor hearts for my 3″ x 3″ cards yesterday, and I actually had several of them left over. So….I decided to use the extra hearts to create this card! Of course, this would be perfect for a Valentine’s Day card, but I think it would make a great wedding or anniversary card as well! Hope these card inspires you use your leftover bits and pieces, too!

For this card, I started with some Magenta Madness Cardstock, embossed it with the Macrame 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Magenta Madness Cardstock base. Next, I used a Blending Brush to add a swirl of Pool Party to some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. After I layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, I popped it up the entire panel with a few Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the little hearts, I used a Water Painter to add Magenta Madness and Highland Heather to some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. After I dried the paper with a Heat Tool, I cut out the hearts with one of the Give It A Whirl Dies. Before I popped up each of hearts with a couple of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a strand of White Baker’s Twine, and a bow at each end of the banner.

The sentiment (from the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set) was stamped in Smoky Slate, cut out, and popped with a couple of Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a just a bit of bling, I added Iridescent Basic Jewels and a 2021-2023 In Color Jewel.

Wishing you creativity always,
