a friend like you…

03.14.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! I love that Stampin’ Up! has so many coordinating products suites and bundles! And…..I also love how easy it is to mix and match products from different product collections! That being said, for this card I used a sentiments from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set, a branch from the Forever Flourishing Dies, and the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder, Vellum Layering Designs, and Faux Sea Glass Shapes from the Stampin’ Up! January – June 2022 Mini Catalog. Hope this inspires you to get creative, and mix and match your favorite products!

For this card, I started with some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, embossed it with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then added a strip of Vellum Layering Designs to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. Next, I used Blending Brushes to add some Granny Apple Green and Coastal Cabana to a strip of Basic White Thick Cardstock, and embossed it the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. After I tore off the right edge of the cardstock, I layered it on top of the vellum, and popped the entire panel with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut out the Basic White Thick Cardstock branch with one of the Forever Flourishing Dies, and popped it up with a few mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Coastal Cabana Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad.

Tucked underneath the sentiment is a bow that I created with Pool Party Sheer Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I used the Faux Sea Glass Shapes to created a colorful border all along the edge of the torn cardstock.
