congratulations…

03.14.2022…..Happy Monday, my stampin’ friends! Stampin’ Up! has so many wonderful Designer Series Paper collections, and I love using them as the focus of my projects! That being said, I decided to use one of my favorite DSP collections…..the Heart & Home Designer Series Paper! Hope this inspires you to use pull out some of your favorite Designer Series Paper, and create some colorful, patterned projects!

For this card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Smoky Slate Cardstock base. I then added a wide strip of Heart & Home DSP, and popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath the left edge is Basic White Thick Cardstock scalloped border, created with one of the Scalloped Contours Dies.

Next, I added a flag (also created with the Heart & Home DSP), punched a tiny hole in each of the top corners, and added some Linen Thread.

The sentiment (from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut it out, and notched it at both ends, I popped it up with a few Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the bow, I used Fresh Freesia Open Weave Ribbon and Pale Papaya & White Ribbon (both cut in half lengthwise, along with…Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim and Linen Thread. Pastel Pearls and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
