04.09.2022…..Happy Saturday, everyone! The new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog will be “live” to customers in just three short weeks! This catalog is jam-packed with soooooo many amazing stamp sets, dies, papers, accessories, and so much more!
That being said, the new 2022-2024 In Colors will be available as well! Introducing…..Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, and Parakeet Party! I love that they are just so bright and vivid! As a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, I am able to pre-order the new In Colors, along with other products, before they are available to customers. Sooooo….I decided to create these gift tags and card, using the new In Colors, along with the Happiness Abounds Bundle!
Customers can begin ordering from the new 2022-2023 Stampin’ Up Annual Catalog,
beginning May 2, 2022!
To create the Basic White Thick Cardstock gift tags, I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies, along with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. To create the little, colorful border on the bottom of each gift tag, I used one the border dies from the Happiness Abounds Bundle.
To create the flowers and leaves, I heat-embossed each of the images (from the Happiness Abounds Bundle) on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle.
To color the flowers and leaves, I used my Water Painter, along with the new 2022-2024 In Colors…..Sweet Sorbet, Orchid Oasis, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, and Parakeet Party . Once the cardstock was dry, I popped up the images with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The “Best Wishes” sentiment (from the Happiness Abounds Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.
To create the bows, I used Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise. For just a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridsecent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Next up is my 6″ x 3″ slimline card…
I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed a second piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and layered some Parakeet Party Cardstock underneath.. To create the little, colorful border on the bottom of card, I used one the border dies from the Happiness Abounds Bundle.
To create the flowers and the leaves, I used the same steps as I did for the gift tags above. To create the bows, I used Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of subtle bling, I sprinkled on Classic Matte Dots.
