04.04.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! It’s already time for another TGIF Challenge! This week we have a Sketch Challenge! We think it’s a fun one and can’t wait to see what kind of a spin you put on it! Hope you have a chance to play along with us this week!
For this card,I started with some In Good Taste Designer Series Paper, layered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere the entire panel to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base.
Next, I cut a smaller piece of In Good Taste DSP, adhered a slightly smaller piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath (to make it a bit sturdier), and popped up that panel with a few more Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a subtle pop of color, I added two narrow strips of Abstract Beauty DSP.
To create the leaves, I used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, and punched them out with the Bough Punch. To watercolor the leaves, I used a Water Painter, along with Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam.
The sentiment (from the Happy & Heartfelt Stamp Set) was stamped on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using Gray Granite, and cut out with one of the Layering Circles Dies. Layered underneath the sentiment is a scalloped circle, cut out with another one of the Layering Circles Dies, using In Good Taste DSP. To create the bow, I used Gold Fine Art Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Elegant Faceted Gems.
