splendid day…

06.16.2022…..Happy Tuesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I’m sharing some of the cards that I created over the weekend, during Stampin’ Up! “Creativity Now” virtual demonstrator event. It was such a wonderful day, filled with lots of crafting and inspiration! And….the presenters did such an amazing job!!! We all created all of our projects using the new Splendid Day Suite, from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! July – December 2022 Mini Catalog. This suite is overflowing with amazing products, and I had so much fun creating with them!

Customers will be able to order from the Stampin’ Up! July – December Mini Catalog

beginning July 1, 2022 – January 4, 2023.

To create the “much love”, card I used some Soft Sea Foam Cardstock, embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. The Basic White Thick Cardstock was colored with Pool Party and Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs, and the little bee (from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) was stamped in the same coordinating colors. Tucked underneath this cardstock is some Texture Chic Designer Series Paper.

The sentiment was stamped in Fresh Freesia, and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tucked underneath are Soft Sea Foam leaves, cut out with one of the dies from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle, and Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon was cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Glossy Dots and Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

To create the “celebrate” card, the leaf image (from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) was stamped with Petal Pink, on a Petal Pink Cardstock base. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the thick end of my Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Marker against the inside edge of the marker cap, and “flicked” outward towards the paper. I then embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder, adhered a slightly larger piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The “half circles” were cut from the Texture Chic DSP (using one of the dies from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment (also from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad. To create the bow, I used Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding Ribbon (cut in half lengthwise) and Linen Thread. For a bit of bling, I used 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds and Elegant Faceted Gems.

To create the “day to remember” card, I embossed some Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. Next, I embossed some Calypso Coral Cardstock with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder. For the White Craft Stampin’ Ink, along with my Water Painter. I watered down the ink a bit before I created the speckling. To create the speckling, I “flicked” the brush tip oagainst the inside edge of the brush cap, and “flicked” outward towards the paper. Once the speckling was dry, I adhered some Basic White Thick Cardstock underneath, and popped up the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The two stamped leaves were created with Soft Sea Foam Cardstock and Petal Pink Cardstock. The images (from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) were stamped with a Tuxedo Black Memento Pad, and cut out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle. The two Basic White Thick Cardstock leaves were also cut out dies from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle.

The sentiment (from the Splendid Thoughts Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic Black Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tucked underneath the sentiment is a bow created with the Soft Sea Foam Ribbon, cut in half lengthwise. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Opal Rounds and Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Wishing you creativity always,
