a sea of wishes…

07.04.2022…..Happy Thursday, my stampin’ friends! Now that those warm summer days are here, I’m definitely feeling those “beach vibes! And…..that I just couldn’t wait to create a card with the new A Fish & A Wish Bundle! Not only does the stamp set have some wonderful images and sentiments, but the Fish Builder Punch is just perfect for punching out the cutest little fish! Hope this card inspires you to create some “beach vibe” projects as well!

For this card, I started with some Parakeet Party Cardstock, embossed it with the Hive 3D Embossing Folder, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to a Basic White Thick Cardstock base. I then used Blending Brushes to add Pacific Point, Tahitian Tide, Granny Apple Green, and Parakeet Party to some Basic White Thick Cardstock. On top of that, I layered another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, which I cut out with the Dots & Spots Die. For the next layer, I embossed Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder, and tore of the bottom edge.

To create the fish, I used Blending Brushes with the same colors as above, along with Basic White Thick Cardstock. I then used the Water Painter, to add some water droplets. Once the cardstock was dry, I punched out the fish and the little fins, and popped them up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment (from the A Fish & A Wish Bundle ) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder. After I cut apart the sentiment, I popped them up with lits bits of Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Glossy Dots and Faux Sea Glass Shapes.

Wishing you creativity always,
