07.06.2022…..Happy Wednesday, my stampin’ friends! Today, I wanted to share a card that I created for this month’s Stampin’ Fancy Friday challenge! It’s a “Flower Power Challenge”, using any flower stamps, images, dies, and/or punches you want! How fabulous is that!?!?
I absolutely adore the new Cottage Rose Bundle (from the Abigail Rose Suite), so when I saw the theme for this challenge, I knew it would be absolutely perfect!
Be sure to join us to see what our Stampin’ Fancy Friday team created. We have 19 amazing projects to share, and each using a unique “flower power” inspiration from throughout the catalog!
Then…..you create a card or project, with inspiration of your own or…..use one from our team. Share your project on IG or FB and tag us by using #stampinfancyfriday or #fancyfridaychallenges in your post.

For the card, I started with Basic White Thick Cardstock, embossed it the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, and adhered it to a Crumb Cake Cardstock base. I then added a wide strip of Abigail Rose DSP along the left side. Underneath the left edge of the DSP, I tucked in a Basic White Thick Cardstock border, created with one of the border dies from the Happiness Abounds Bundle.

To create the flowers and leaves, I heat embossed the images (from the Cottage Rose Bundle) on Crumb Cake Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Powder, then cut them out with the coordinating dies from the same bundle. To color the flowers and leaves, I used a Water Painter, along with Melon Mambo and Old Olive.
The sentiment (from the Cottage Rose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and cut out with one of the Stylish Shapes Dies. For some extra texture, I added a Linen Thread bow. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

For the gift box, I used one of the Sweet Little Boxes (from the Stampin’ Up! January – June 2022 Mini Catalog). To cover the top of the box, I added some Abigail Rose DSP. The flowers and leaves were created with the same techniques as the card above. The sentiment (from the Cottage Rose Bundle) was heat-embossed on Basic White Thick Cardstock. For some extra texture, I tied a bow around the box using Old Olive Twill Ribbon and Linen Thread. To add a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
Wishing you creativity always,
