09.10.2022…..Happy Saturday, my stampin’ friends! I’m feeling especially grateful today, and…..I’ve also been in the mood to do a farmhouse vibe project. So…..I thought this banner would be just perfect! I used a combination of several fall-themed products, including the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set, Aspen Tree Dies, Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder, and Leaf Labels. Hope this banner inspires you to create some fall farmhouse projects as well!
For this banner, I started several of the Leaf Labels, and embossed them with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I then my Water Painter, along with a few drops of my White Craft Ink Refill (mixed with a tiny bit of water) to add some white speckles. (To create the speckling, I “flicked” the end of the brush against the inside edge of the brush cap, and “flicked” outward towards the cardstock.)
Next, I used the “So Grateful” sentiment (from the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set), and heat-embossed it on Basic Black Cardstock, using my Versamark Pad and White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. I then cut out each of the sentiments with one of the Tailor Made Tags Dies. To give the tags a “chalkboard” feel, I used a Sponge Dauber to add soft swirls of White Craft Ink.

To create the large gold leaves, I used the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, along with the large leaf die (from the Aspen Tree Dies). To make each of the leaves a bit more sturdy, I cut an extra from Kraft Paper, and adhered it to the back. To create the little white leaves, I used the small leaf die (from the Aspen Tree Dies), along with Basic White Thick Cardstock.

I used two lengths of Linen Thread to connect all of the elements together. I also used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to glue each of the four elements together….just overlapping them a tiny bit. For some extra texture, I use Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon to add several bows, and also tied on small pieces of Natural 1/2″ Woven Ribbon. For a bit more dimension, I add Textural Elements to each of the gold leaves.
Wishing you creativity always,
