#tgifc399 – let it snow…

12.16.2022…..Happy Friday, my stampin’ friends! We have been having so much fun with our TGIF Challenges this month, so let’s keep it going with a fantastically versatile Inspiration Challenge. I chose to use this inspiration for a holiday-themed card, but there are so many ways you can go with it! We hope this challenge inspires you to use your creativity and craftineess to create a unique card of your own! We would love to see what you create!

For this card, I started with some Basic White Thick Cardstock, and adhered it to a Starry Sky Cardstock base. I then used the mountain range image (from the Mountain Air Stamp Set) and stamped it twice on another piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock, using the Starry Sky Classic Stampin’ Pad. (For the first time, I “stamped it off” twice, and the second time I “stamped it off” once.)

After I embossed the cardstock with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder, I added some speckling with a Dark Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Marker, and used Stampin’ Dimensionals to adhere it to the card base.

I used the Mountain Air Stamp Set to stamp the trees…in Highland Heather, Starry Sky, and Tahitian Tide (going from left to right). After I cut out the trees with the Majestic Mountain Dies, I popped them up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To create the bow, I used Tahitian Tide Baker’s Twine, and pulled apart the threads before I tied the bow. For a bit of bling, I sprinkled on Opal Rounds and Adhesive-Backed Sequins and Gems.

Wishing you creativity always,

  1. I love this card. Can you tell me the stamp set you used to create it? Would it be ok if I case it? Are the mountains done with a stencil?
I know it’s a busy time of the year so I’ll understand if you can’t get back to me right away.
    Happy holidays to you!
